All hockey players have the dream of playing the sport they love professionally. Unfortunately for women it is very rare and quite often unheard of.
Kelly Paton from Woodstock played locally for the London Jr. Stangs (now the Jr. Devilettes). She has had many achievements over the years including most recently, named captain in her fourth and final year at University of New Hampshire, runner up for the Patty Kazmaier Award (most prestigious award in womens college hockey) and played in the outdoor game at Fenway Ballpark (home of the Boston Red Sox).
Now Kelly is about to reach the ultimate goal of playing professional womens hockey in Europe and you can follow and interact with her along the way. I have attached a link to Kelly's facebook page where she will frequently post articles about her experiences, answer any questions you may have, update pictures and interact with her fellow female hockey players. Just click on the link to the right and you can start to follow the life of a professional womens hockey player. There is also a file in the downloadable file section with photos and informarion on Kelly's experience. Search her on YouTube as well for lots of videos.

All new players to Zorra will receive home and away socks free of charge
Attn: Any returning players who need socks
Socks will be available for sale at Say "Hey" Sunday, Sept. 26th in the hall for $8.00 per pair. They are also available at Oxford Source for Sports in Woodstock. Please note that matching Zorra Home and Away socks must be worn for all games.

Attention all Players!
Some additional ice times have been added and some have changed. Please check the calendar carefully for these changes. Tryouts are posted as well as Sept. practices. Please take note if your ice is in St. Marys or Thamesford for the first 2 weeks of September and check back for more changes.
